The good news is that I'm not the Phil Katz who invented pkzip and became both famous for his technical

 work and infamous for some of the choices he made that ended his life prematurely in April, 2000.

 

That is good news because I'm alive and well, working and enjoying my life as best I can. It's also good news because every once in a while a search engine will bring someone to me who I may not have met otherwise.

 

So if I’m not that Phil Katz, then who am I?

 

Well, I’m a pretty simple person in some ways and pretty complicated in others.

 

This site is now a place where I can share a bit of myself. Who I am, what I value, and what I do for fun.

 

So feel free to browse and comment on the pictures in the gallery, and get a sense of what’s going on with me in my blogs.

 

And what about PXK and Associates? Well it now lives on in spirit even if not in practice.
